Hi – I’m Alison, apart from being a bit of a geek, I’m a fairly normal person!

I have four businesses – the SEO Training Club, which is an online community for small business owners to learn about online marketing,  a SEO Company, Tribal Mash, which provides seo services for small businesses -  Arabella Miller – where I manufacture organic baby clothes – and a baby bedding retail website.

Aside from running Self Employed Mum, with my friend and uber-blogger Nat, I’m also Geek in Residence over at the fabulous business networking site, Mums Club.

When not in cyberspace I’m cooking Nigel Slater recipes, relaxing with a Lush bath bomb and growing my own veg. I also enjoy the nearby countryside of the Lancashire Plain.

My secret ambition is to be a published sci-fi author and my guilty pleasures are handbags, adventure video games and American Idol.

I live in a village in Lancashire with my non-geek husband, daughters and Jedi, our working cocker spaniel.
