Welcome back to Self Employed Mum. Thanks for visiting!
If you’re considering starting a blog or already have and want brilliant advice on how to make it work, look no further than Darren Rowse’s Problogger blog.
I’ve been reading it for over 3 years now and it’s the first place I go to when I want to find a solution. With a plethora of people stepping up to claim to be knowledgeable about blogging or how to make money from it, it can be very confusing when you need to find out something and are unsure who to trust. Being a long time reader, the blog has proved itself time and again to be a brilliant resource.
Keep up to date with what is happening in blogging, find out about web based services and applications that can help you run your blog and business (one of my favourite posts was on 14 essential Mac OS apps for bloggers which instantly simplified my life and saved me time), read case studies, have a go at his tutorials, and find a gazillion ways to improve your blog.
Darren (and his guest contributors) deliver clear and authoritative advice, explaining jargon, pros, cons, and make the content relevant no matter what your level of experience.
Whether you’re new to blogging or consider yourself a pro, there is always valuable information to be gleaned and I highly recommend you add this to your favourites or RSS reader. He also has a book, Problogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-figure Income for those of you that like hard copy.
